Our Team

  • Amy

Meet Amy, our grooming extraordinaire at The Pet Bow-Tique, whose journey in the world of pet pampering began in February 2015. Amy's dedication and love for furry friends have made her an invaluable part of our team.

Amy's grooming adventure started with a solid foundation. In 2014, she enrolled in "The Institute of Technical Arts" in Casselberry, FL, undertaking their full-time 9-month Pet Grooming Course. Before gracing The Pet Bow-Tique with her skills, Amy even groomed at the school for a few months after completing her education, showcasing her commitment to perfecting her skills.

So, what inspired Amy to become a groomer? It all began with her first Bichon Frise. Although the dream took a few years to materialize, attending grooming school turned out to be the best decision Amy ever made.

When it comes to her favorite part of grooming, Amy's heart expands to encompass pets of all shapes and sizes. From the tiniest to the extra-large, the sweetest to the most challenging, puppies to seniors and special needs dogs – each holds a special place in Amy's heart. Every pup, with its unique personality, deserves to be loved and pampered.

At home, Amy's furry companion is Eli, a Bichon Frise she rescued from the shelter. Beyond grooming, Amy is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle for her mind, body, and soul. Her interests range from watching food and home shows to staying active and, of course, spending quality time with Eli.

With Amy overseeing your pet's grooming experience, you can trust that they're in the hands of someone with a genuine passion for their well-being. Your furry friends are not just getting a groom; they're receiving the love and care that Amy has cultivated throughout her remarkable journey.

When it comes to breeds, Stefanie enjoys grooming Shih Tzus. Their boundless love and smooches make them a delight to groom, and Stefanie knows just how to make them look and feel their best.

At home, Stefanie’s furry companion is Blue, a 13-year-old Shih Tzu. Stefanie's life isn't all about grooming; she's also an avid kayaker, finding solace and adventure on the water outside of work.

  • Lilly

Lilly joined the grooming world in 2022, starting as a bather at Petsmart before completing their academy program to become a groomer. Since then, she’s continued to grow her skills, working in private shops to expand her creativity and build stronger connections with dogs and their families.

Originally, Lilly planned to work as a veterinary assistant, but a chance application to a bathing position changed her career path. She quickly fell in love with grooming and hasn’t looked back. Lilly loves helping dogs look and feel their best while building trust and positive experiences. Her background in veterinary care allows her to assist pet parents with concerns like skin issues and anxiety, offering both practical and compassionate solutions.

Lilly enjoys grooming a variety of breeds but has a soft spot for large breeds, especially retrievers and sporting dogs, as well as schnauzers and poodles. She excels at deshedding treatments, creative hand-scissored cuts, and breed-standard styles. Lilly is also passionate about working with anxious pets, taking a gentle approach to help them feel comfortable and confident.

At home, Lilly has a full house of pets: two dogs, Dante (a cattle dog-chihuahua mix) and Bowie (a red heeler); two cats, Spooks and Dima; five birds, including a cockatiel, parakeets, and a dove; and a horse named Mina. Outside of work, Lilly loves horseback riding, kayaking, gardening, baking, video games, and spending time outdoors. She’s always eager to try new things and learn more about animals and their care.

Fun fact: Lilly has been working with animals since she was a young teen, volunteering at the ASPCA and participating in programs like wildlife rehabilitation and giraffe studies. Her lifelong passion for animals drives her dedication to grooming, a career she’s excited to continue for years to come.
